THE NATIONAL TEAM PROJECT
Ensuring we remain the best of the best.
The national team sets the standard for snowsports instruction and embody the ski and snowboard experience. They have been referred to as “the astronauts” of the association. In their role, they represent the organization to instructors at all member resorts, providing a range of skills that allow them to serve as inspirational leaders and build enthusiasm for learning and having fun skiing and riding.
The National Team Project (NTP) is not only designed as a fundraising campaign to provide increased financial support for the team’s efforts, but to also build a structure and time commitment that will allow the national team to positively impact PSIA-AASI’s broader membership.
This includes more time at more member schools, more time on snow with instructors, and more educational videos, all of which is not possible today due to restricted funding capacity.
